Unboxing + Review: FabFitFun Fall 2016

fabfitfun fall 2016

It has been a year since I last subbed to Fab Fit Fun. I hadn’t seen much in the spoilers that I was really that interested in… until now!

The spoilers for the Fab Fit Fun box for Fall 2016 were just so hard to say no to! One spoiler after another, as they were released, were making it harder and harder to not resubscribe. There are so many items that I just love in the fall box! It is so jam packed with amazing things! Plus, the box is so adorable and depicts the colouring craze perfectly!

Fab Fit Fun is a seasonal lifestyle subscription box based in the US. You will receive four boxes a year. The box costs $49.99 USD and it is an additional $8 USD to ship to Canada. It is a pricier subscription but it is seasonal and you only get four of them per year and each box has a value that is well over $200.00 USD so if you see that the spoilers are items you would like, it’s totally worth it! If you would like to try this subscription out, I would very much appreciate it if you use my referral link here.

I couldn’t wait to get this box! There’s a lot to cover so let’s get started. ๐Ÿ™‚

fabfitfun fall 2016

Unless you have been living under a rock, you have probably noticed there’s a big adult colouring craze is happening now! Adult colouring books are everywhere! I’ve seen a ton of them at Chapters and at Costco. Heck, I own a couple of them myself. The first two items I received in my Fall box goes along with this trend. I received a  FabFitFun Colouring Book and a set of six coloured pencils ($14.00 USD). I received the Things Colouring Book (the other one that was available was Nature) and it’s a book full of random things and objects. I love colouring books! I loved colouring as a child and I love it now. They really are a type of therapy and does reduce stress and anxiety. When I’m colouring, I’m feeling very zen! The problem I seem to stumble  upon, though, is finding time to colour. Gotta make some time for it, I guess. ๐Ÿ™‚ Oh, and don’t forget to use those pencil crayons to colour the Fall box, too!

Next up is one of the real stars of this box – this ModCloth Loch and Key Scarf ($34.99 USD) is amazing! Blanket scarves are in this season so Fab Fit Fun got it right by including one in their Fall box. The one I received is in the black and white colourway. Quite honestly, I would have been happy with any one of the four colourways! The ModCloth blanket scarf is super soft, light and comfy! There are a number of ways you can wear it, too. You can use it as a scarf, you can make it into a poncho. I know I will be wearing mine through the fall and well into winter, I’m sure. I’ll be using it as a scarf and a blanket. Plus, it will be great to take on the plane in case you get chilly. Multipurpose items are always a great thing – so practical!

fabfitfun fall 2016

The good stuff just keeps on coming! How adorable is this To-Go Coffee Mug from The Created Co ($19.00 USD)? I love it! I received the “Good Morning Gorgeous” one and it is perfect! You can use it with coffee or water even. Such a fun travel mug with an amazing, empowering message on it! The gold text on black mug looks sleek and gorgeous. If this doesn’t brighten up your morning, I don’t know what will!

fabfitfun 2016

The next item I received is something that smells wonderful. Well, to me it does because I love lavender scents. I just find it so soothing! The Mullein & Sparrow Mini French Lavender Body Oil ($18.00 USD) is a great addition to this box. Not only does it have moisturizing properties when used on your skin, the scent just makes me feel zen. I need to check out the lasting power of this body oil… if I can put it on in the morning and have it help me feel a bit more zen through the busier, more stressful days at work, that would be great! ๐Ÿ˜‰

fabfitfun fall 2016

Now, how did FabFitFun know that I needed a new brow gel? The BrowGal Clear, Water-Resistant Eyebrow Gel ($20.00 USD) came at the perfect time! I am just about out of the clear brow gel that I have now. I like using brow gels just to keep my brows staying put. Sometimes brows get a bit crazy too! I have not heard of this brand before so I’m looking forward to trying it.

fabfitfun fall 2016

This next product intrigues me. The Spongelle Bulgarian Rose Body Wash Infused Buffer ($16.00 USD) is something I’ve never seen before. It’s a hypoallergenic sponge that has a time released lather… that’s new to me! Very innovative, if that is the case. It does have a very strong scent, though, and I’ve always been iffy about rose scents, so I’m not sure if I will use this or pass it on to a friend.

fabfitfun fall 2016

The Pure Cosmetics Nude Collection Eyeshadow Palette ($50.00 USD) looks pretty familar to me… it looks like a dupe for my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette! The colours look very similar and all the shades are very wearable, from day to night. I haven’t swatched this because I’m not sure if I’m keeping it yet due to owning Naked 2. But one thing I can see is that this may be more “natural” than my UD palette so that’s a nice option for those who prefer natural products. Either way, this is a big value item in a sub box. Can’t go wrong with that, really… and if you don’t own the Naked 2 palette, then this looks like a great dupe!

fabfitfun fall 2016

fabfitfun fall 2016

This next one will surely come in handy next time I decide to do some yoga. Toesox Toeless Fitness Socks ($18.00 USD)! I can tell you right now that the grips on the bottom of these socks are great! No slip! At all! It takes a bit of getting used to putting it on and then having your toes not be covered like your typical sock. But hey, these socks serve a purpose and the pink colour is so fun!

fabfitfun fall 2016

One more product to go! The Skin Laundry Restoring Night Serum ($50.00 USD) is to be used at night, before you go to bed. It contains powerful antioxidants, vitamins, natural extracts and amino acid. This helps skin texture, firmness and elasticity while you get some rest. I have been using it for a few days so far and I really like it! It’s very light, not sticky at all and feels nice on my skin.

fabfitfun fall 2016

The next two products are the bonuses… and even though they’re bonuses, they are super useful items!

The first one is Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths (Sponsored Item). I’ll admit it – these are practical! And how adorable is that packaging! We do already use this product and really like it so this was a nice bonus.

fabfitfun fall 2016

fabfitfun fall 2016

And last but not least, I received a deluxe sample of Secret Outlast Xtend Clear Gel (Sponsored Item). Quite glad I received this because I adore Secret Clear Gels! They are my fave antiperspirant/deodorant product ever. EVER. So this will get used for sure!

fabfitfun fall 2016

Overall, my Fall 2016 FabFitFun box was a hit! I am very happy with it! My fave item has got to be the blanket scarf, though! Out of the 11 products I received – nine of which were the actual box contents plus two sponsored items – I will be using pretty much everything except maybe the Spongelle sponge and Pure Cosmetics palette. And really, the only reason why I may not use the palette is because I already own and use something similar. Such amazing value at $239.99 USD! And don’t forget to check out the Exclusive Offers card for discounts from seven of the brands featured in the Fall box. ๐Ÿ™‚

Again, if you’d like to try this subscription out, i would really appreciate if you used my referral link.

What did you think of the Fall 2016 FabFitFun box? What was your fave item?

Haul: Sephora VIB Sale Fall 2016

sephora vib sale haul

I really wanted to get this post up as soon as possible, it time for the VIB sale that starts today!

It’s that time of year! It’s time for the Sephora VIB Sale! 20% off whatever your little heart desires at Sephora! They only have discounts twice a year (barring the Friends & Family discount that seems to have become more difficult to get this year) so it is not very often you can save at Sephora. The November sale is the perfect time to replenish your goods and buy Christmas presents. With that being said, I decided to show you my haul in case it gives you ideas on what you would like to get during this year’s VIB sale (the VIB Rouge sale was last weekend) or just general gifting ideas for this holiday season.

Due to the sheer amount of stuff I have to go through from sub boxes and the like (hence why my project pan and empties posts are so important to me), I tried very hard not to go overboard this year. Usually I shop in-store and online but this year, I limited myself to shopping in-store only.  I shopped the VIB Rouge sale with my equally (if not more) beauty-crazed friend and we had a blast wandering around the store, seeing what’s new and just having some much needed girl time and retail therapy.

Enough chatter! Let’s get to the haul! Some items, I purchased to replenish and replace an old one I already had. Some of these were on my Loves list as things I wanted to try. One of them… well, one of them was a spur of the moment splurge because my friend twisted my rubber arm (but it was totally worth it, you’ll see!). And I redeemed for one 100 point perk.

First thing’s first, let’s take a look at what was replenished. These are the items that I already use today and I either ran out of or are very close to running out of. Also, please forgive the fact that these items are not pictured with the rest of my haul above… they were already put in their designated spots and I had started to use them already! But I will bring them all together again to take this picture to add later on – time is of the essence here so I won’t let that get in the way from posting this tonight. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer in Medium: I needed a replacement for my Urban Decay concealer that I finished awhile ago. And while I do have the Tarte Shape Tape, I’m trying not to use it too often as it’s not available here in Canada. So this was my pick! I haven’t tried this Too Faced one before but so far I’m impressed! Excellent coverage and Medium is a good colour match for me. To be fair, I do have the Born This Way foundation and I love it.
  • Alterna Haircare Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oil Dry Oil Mist: I first received a deluxe sample of this in a swap and fell n love! I was being very stringent of my deluxe sample because I was afraid of running out. Problem solved.
  • NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in St. Moritz: Going on a hot vacation and I needed a light tinted moisturizer for those days when I don’t want to cake on a heavy foundation. I tried a foil sample of this and it was great and it’s my choice to bring on my holidays. This travel sized tube is perfect! i’m so glad that the travel size comes in my shade. ๐Ÿ™‚

sephora vib sale haul

Okay, those three were the big three. The important stuff I had to get. Next up are the products that represent a subset of my Loves list.

  • Buxom 6 Degrees Below Sexy Mini Full- On Lip Polish Collection: I saw Tati review this and knew I had to have it! Buxom is one of my favourite brands! Their lip products are amazing! I use them all the time. The lip polishes are somewhat sheer so I can use them daily, everywhere I go! They make your lips tingle, too. The shades included in this set are Dominique (glittering ice), Amy (golden nude), Celeste (prismatic soft peach), Clair (starry plum haze), Starr (brandy cordial), Jasmine (black cherry) . Such a great deal at $40 considering one full sized lip polish costs $24.00 CAD alone.
  • Bite Beauty The Perfect Bite Set: Eee! I was very excited for these! Mainly because 1) I love mini lipsticks and 2) there are two shades in this set that I have been waiting to try! This set comes with four miniature versions of Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche lipsticks- Fig, Pepper, Honeycomb and Nori. While I can already tell that Honeycomb (a beige nude) is not my style and that Nori (a deep brown red) will only be used sometimes when I need more colour, I was stoked to see that Pepper (a dusty rose) and Fig (a nude rose) was included because they have been on my list for what seems like forever! And what better way to try the new formulation than with this amazing set? All of these shades are available in Bite’s permanent line so if you fall in love with them, you can get a full size. ๐Ÿ™‚
  • Tatcha Kyoto Cleanse Set: I had received the Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil in a swap and loved it right away. I don’t use cleansing oils to wash my face every day so this 25 ml travel size is great for me. I’m sure it will still last me awhile! I thought this set, which includes the cleansing oil, was a great deal because it also allows you to try other Tatcha products.  This set also includes travel size of the Polished Classic Rice Enzyme Powder (10 g) and Supple Moisture Rich Silk Cream (2 ml).
  • drybar Merry Mini Must-Haves: I have always wanted to try drybar products. It’s been sitting in my Loves list – the Triple Sec 3-in-1 in particular! – and this travel sized set was the final push to finally try drybar out! So far I have only tried the Triple Sec and so far so good as a texturizer! And it smells amazing! This set also comes with the Detox Dry Shampoo and Detox Dry Conditioner.
  • Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Beauty on the Go: This set contains Brazilian Bum Bum Cream (75 ml) and Brazilian Kiss Cupuaรงu Lip Butter (6.2 g). The first time I saw this project was when I was in line at Sephora during a quick stop to get something I had run out of and while standing in line my hubby asked “What is bum bum cream?” At the time, I really had no idea… so I looked a little more into it and the more I looked, the more I was intrigued. It is said to “absorb quickly to keep skin looking and feeling tight, firm and smooth”. I’ve been using it all week and I’m quite happy with it. While I haven’t used it long enough to say anything about its firming properties, it seems to do everything else. Plus it smells amazing!I haven’t tried the lip butter yet. Overall, this was totally worth it!

sephora vib sale haul

Well, twist my rubber arm! The next one was the unplanned purchase. I was trying my hardest to not buy an eyeshadow palette but when I saw it in person, it was really hard to say no! This was my unexpected splurge.

  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Master Palette By Mario: It really is such a beautiful palette! And the shadows are SO pigmented. I don’t often go for overly warm palettes but I just couldn’t help it. I have been using it almost every day for the last week and I love it! I will definitely be writing up a review on this one. Just a quick hint: this palette is sold out online but my store (along with many others) still have many of these in stock! So if you want one, check out your neighbourhood Sephora. ๐Ÿ˜‰

And last but not least, I redeemed 100 points for one thing. I got the last one at this store. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  • Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Long Wear Matte Lipstick in Sell Out: It has been a long time since I have seen a 100 point perk that I was actually interested in! But since I still haven’t tried these liquid lippies before, I thought this was perfect. I get to try something new plus I love smaller lippies because they are great to keep in your purse. Sell Out is a “matte soft pinky-brown” so I’m hoping this works out for me!

sephora vib sale haul

That’s it! I think I did well to keep my purchases down to only things I needed to replenish and to items that I knew that I would love. I definitely didn’t go overboard this time so that was a huge plus! I hope this post was useful or fun at the very least. I love seeing everyone else’s hauls and I love to share mine. ๐Ÿ™‚

What do you want me to review and feature on the blog in the near future? Let me know in the comments below! ๐Ÿ™‚

Unboxing + Review: Miss Blanco Joyful Box October 2016

miss blanco joyful box october 2016

miss blanco joyful box october 2016

Greetings folks! After having a very long week last week, receiving this in the mail was a lovely surprise!

This unboxing is a little bit different for me because I know the girl who started it. Well, I don’t know her in real life but I know her online from a Canadian Facebook beauty group or two and she is the NICEST person! I know Yoanella (Miss Blanco herself!) put in a lot of hard work and research into this. She even asked a group of beauty box subscription lovers about their thoughts around beauty boxes, such as, what they love and don’t love about their current beauty box subscriptions in preparation of kicking off her very own beauty box subscription service. After all that preparation and hard work, Miss Blanco Joyful Box was born!

This week I received the very first Miss Blanco Joyful Box. The October box was chock full of amazing goodies! Not only do you get beauty and makeup  items – which is a pretty standard offering in beauty box subs, really – but Yoanella expanded what her boxes offer to include both handmade and lifestyle products, as well. When we go through the contents of the box, you’ll see what I mean.

For the month of October, shipping was free so the box cost $38.00 CAD. Starting in November, the price of the box will be $38.00 CAD plus $6 CAD for shipping to Canada and $7 CAD for shipping to the US (to be converted to US Dollars).

Now that we have the logistics out of the way, what are we waiting for? Let’s begin this unboxing! You have no idea how excited I am to share this with you! ๐Ÿ™‚

When I first opened the box, I noticed a cute Thank You card! ๐Ÿ™‚

miss blanco joyful box october 2016

Underneath the card were the goodies. Let’s start with beauty, shall we?

The first item I received was the Manna Kadar LipLocked Priming Lip Wand in the shade Joie ($31.00 CAD, 2.5 g, full sized). Joie is the word “joy” in French – how perfect is it that I received this shade in my Joyful box! Joie is described as a “Muted Rose” and it really is such a gorgeous colour. Usually I am not a big fan of lip crayons due to how dry some of them can be but this one isn’t dry at all when I put it on. It goes on smooth and is nicely pigmented.  Other pluses to this product? It’s paraben free, cruelty free and allergy tested.

I would still suggest that you use a lip scrub and lip balm to ensure that your lips are smooth when you use this if you have dry lips like me. Though it applies smooth, I found that to be because my lips were drier than usual (due to being sick and taking cold medication for the last few weeks, ugh), it would start to settle in the creases on my lips after awhile. The lip balm also adds a bit of gloss, making the muted rose colour shine and pop. This really was the perfect colour for me and I’m really happy that I received it! I have a feeling I will be toting that around with my new fave lip balm in my purse cause right now they are my “dynamic duo” of lip products. ๐Ÿ˜‰

This next one was not on the card because I believe it was a little bonus surprise in my October box! I received a Lord & Berry 20100 Maxi Matte Crayon Lipstick in the shade Intimacy ($20.00 USD, 1.8 g, full sized). From the looks of it, the website shows that this is a limited edition product.

Yes, I already received a lip pencil but ohmigosh. Again, this is the perfect shade for me! This is darker than the Manna Kadar Lip Wand but it’s in a similar shade family and I do love those rose colour lippies! This lipstick crayon is also very easy to apply and the pigmentation is really great. It’s a very wearable colour for day-to-day at the office or for running errands on the weekend! Super happy with this as well. This lip junkie likes this too. ๐Ÿ™‚

miss blanco joyful box october 2016

Here are some swatches of the two lip pencils.

miss blanco joyful box october 2016

I also received another product from this brand. The Manna Kadar Radiance Split Pan Bronzer and Highlighter Duo ($28.00 CAD, full size) is fab! This year has been the year of the highlighter for me and I really can’t say no to a lovely bronzer so I thought this was great! I have tried this product before receiving it in this box and I’m happy to have a backup now. Both the highlighter and the bronzer are super silky and very pigmented. The shades are perfect for my medium skin tone but by the looks of this, it looks like it would be great for most, if not all, skin tones. It’s very versatile that way. And hey, it’s also perfect for travel! You won’t need to bring a separate highlighter and bronzer because this takes care of it. I will be putting this in my makeup bag when I go on holidays!

miss blanco joyful box 2016

miss blanco joyful box 2016

The final beauty product in the October Miss Blanco Joyful Box was the Barefoot Venus Lilly Pilly Shea Butter Hand Cream ($6.75 CAD, 50 ml). Such cute pink packaging! I am a big fan of Barefoot Venus. Everything that I have tried from them so far, I’ve loved! It’s also great that this product is paraben free and also does not contain any synthetic colours, mineral oil or propylene glycol. And I love shea butter lotions. This one is no exception. This is a great hand cream. A little bit goes a long way! It’s a thick hand cream with a light scent. It’s quite nice! This is perfect for me right now because my hands are so dry from the colder weather. And this will be fantastic to take on my holiday. Big thumbs up on this one!

miss blanco joyful box 2016

So just because we finished talking about beauty doesn’t mean we’re done this unboxing yet! What I love about this box is that it also included one lifestyle item and a handmade item.

The lifestyle item for the month of October is an adorable handmade soap in the shape of a cupcake ($6.00 CAD). How cute is that! It’s Canadian-made in Waterloo, Ontario and made exclusively for this subscription. The scent I got was in Pink Clay. I wasn’t sure what Pink Clay was so I had to Google it and came up with this description:

French Pink Clay is a combination of red and white clays. […] French Pink Clay can be used to cleanse and detoxify the skin, remove dead skin cells and create an overall refreshed appearance. It can also be used to treat acne and other skin ailments; poor blood and/or lymph circulation and sun damaged skin.

It has a soft scent but it smells really nice! I’ll be honest with you – it’s almost too cute to use! I could totally put it on display on my vanity. We’ll see what I end up doing with it.. it really is a toss up! Enjoy the lovely scented soap in the shower or display on my vanity… tough. Tough decision. ๐Ÿ˜‰

miss blanco joyful box october 2016

Last but not least, the handmade item is a little crochet purse ($21.00 CAD). It was available in three colours and I just happened to receive the mint one! Perfect! Other than purple, greens are my fave colour. ๐Ÿ˜‰ This crochet purse is perfect to keep in your handbag to for your loose change or other tiny items.  I love receiving practical items in sub boxes!

miss blanco joyful box october 2016

The overall value of my Joyful Box for the month of October was $92.75 CAD PLUS a lippie with a value of $20.00 USD as a bonus surprise. That is amazing, AMAZING value!I am thrilled with my first Miss Blanco Joyful box! I can’t wait to see what November has in store. ๐Ÿ™‚

If you want to try out this subscription, there is a coupon code available right now. Use the code MISSBLANCO10 for 10% off your first box!

Not ready to commit to a subscription yet? Boxes are available for one-time purchase for the upcoming month (in this case, November and December boxes are available in the shop now) and sometimes Yoanella has special surprise boxes that contain fewer items but is less expensive so you can get a taste of what you could receive if you do subscribe.

What can I say? So far, so good. This really was a box full of joy! ๐Ÿ™‚

Review: Nivea Must Haves – ChickAdvisor

chickadvisor nivea must haves

I have heard of the Nivea brand for as long as I can remember! I remember my Mom used to buy the classic Nivea Creme when I was little. It is a tried and true brand that has been around and has lasting power. Personally, I have not used many Nivea products yet… but we are about to change that!

I recently had the opportunity to try out a handful of Nivea products through ChickAdvisor’s Product Review Club. Five Nivea products were included in the Nivea Must Haves Campaign and I was excited to try each and every one!

The first product I tried when I received this package in the mail were the Nivea Creme Care Facial Cleansing Wipes. I figured, it was the end of the day and it was time to remove my makeup so, why not?

chickadvisor nivea must haves

This is a brand new product to the Nivea product line. Each cloth has the signature Nivea Creme scent! The cleansing cloth is very, very soft and gentle on your skin. It’s not at all abrasive. It does remove most of my makeup, however, I still felt the need to cleanse my face to get a more thorough cleansing after using the cleansing wipes. Leading me to what I tried next…

The Nivea Creme Care All-in-One Facial Cleansing Lotion was the perfect “next step” in my night time skincare routine. How convenient! This is also a brand new product and it is said to have “skin- friendly ingredients” that “cleanses face and eyes thoroughly while protecting skin’s natural moisture balance.” That sounds lovely, doesn’t it? Now that the weather is getting colder and the skin is getting drier here in Alberta, it’s exactly what the doctor ordered!

chickadvisor nivea must haves

When I squeezed some of the cleansing lotion onto my hand, I noticed right away that it also had the signature scent of Nivea Creme. (I’m sensing a trend here!) Application  was smooth and it does feel like a lotion on my skin. This concerned me at first because I wasn’t sure if it would rinse off easily but I was wrong. I was rinsed it off with ease and my face felt very soft. As if I already had a moisturizer on. I was pretty happy with it.

The next product is a classic. The Nivea Creme is the original moisturizer that kick started everything! You can use it on your body, face or hands and it comes in numerous sizes (400 ml, 250 ml, 150 ml). It’s a very rich and thick moisturizing cream so it’s awesome for dry skin. I like how small this tin is. I will be adding this to the makeup bag that I keep in my purse for those moments when I need a hand cream.

chickadvisor nivea must haves

So what’s next? Oh yes, the Nivea Protect & Care Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant. I am usually a fan of gel anti-perspirants but this solid is pretty good! It has a nice, light scent and it works great as an everyday anti-perspirant. It is still effective even when I’m working out AFTER work… roughtly 10 hours after I first apply this after my shower in the morning! So I really can’t complain.

chickadvisor nivea must haves

And I have saved the best for last! Honestly, this product is the biggest surprise to me. As you may already know, I’m a big lip balm junkie! I keep one in my purse, my makeup vanity, my nightstand… all the important places where I may need a lip balm! So when I received the Nivea Essential Lip Balm, I was intrigued. I’ve seen this product in stores but I never had the urge to try it. Now that I have, all I have to say is – what took me so long??? I love this lip balm! It’s super hydrating! A great addition to my lip balm collection just in time for winter! To be perfectly honest, this lip balm has not left my purse since I first put it in there for “testing purposes” the day I received my package from ChickAdvisor. I use it every single day. LOVE!

chickadvisor nivea must haves

Overall, I was just so impressed with the Nivea Must Haves! ChickAdvisor doesn’t fail me when they send me these awesome boxes to try and I am just so thankful for the opportunity. ๐Ÿ™‚

Have you tried any of these Nivea Must Haves? What’s your fave product? Or if you haven’t tried anything yet, what are you looking forward to trying?

’till next time, friends!

ipsy august 2016

Disclaimer: The products mentioned were sent to me by ChickAdvisor and Nivea for free in exchange for my honest opinion. A blog post was not required but I thought these products were great so I wanted to share with my readers. ๐Ÿ™‚

Unboxing: Unilever Trends Box from Topbox (Limited Edition)

topbox unilever trends box

Ugh. I don’t usually get sick often but the bug that’s been going around at work has hit me hard. So my apologies for the delay on this post! I meant to post this sometime last week.

The Unilever Trends Box was included for free with my September Topbox. What a surprise that was! I definitely wasn’t expecting that. ๐Ÿ™‚

Other subscribers received the Unilever Classics Box. Both were available for purchase from Topbox for $10 CAD but they are both sold out now which is a shame because it’s such a great deal!

A ton of great stuff from brands under the Unilever umbrella – both old and new to me – were included.  It’s a good mix of stuff so let’s get started!

topbox unilever trends box

Dove Dry Oil Moisturizing Body Wash (53 ml)
I have tried other Dove body washes but not this one in particular.  It is said to be “Infused with precious Moroccan Argan Oil beads” which intrigues me. I don’t often use exfoliating body washes so I look forward to trying this one out!

Dove Soothing Camomile Dry Spray Antiperspirant (107 g)
Now here’s something that I’ve heard good things about but haven’t had a chance to try yet. I have never tried a spray antiperspirant before so I’m glad I received this! This is definitely a new-to-me product.

Dove Regenerative Nourishment Shampoo (30 ml), Conditioner (30 ml) and Serum (9 ml)
A sample of an entire hair product range! That’s pretty awesome. This is for damaged and over-processed hair. My hair isn’t damaged, per se, but I often use heat styling tools so it’s probably damaged enough. I will have to give this a try. Maybe I will take these on my upcoming vacation. That sounds like a good plan to me. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Simple Kind to Skin Cleansing Facial Wipes (7 count)
I love, love, love Simple cleansing wipes! I can’t even count how many of these I’ve used up already. Super glad to have a nice travel pack for vacation, though. ๐Ÿ™‚

TRESemme Perfectly (un)Done Waves Sea Foam (45 ml)
I usually feel very indifferent about sprays that claim to give you waves because I still haven’t found one that works for me. Something to try, I guess.

TRESemme Perfectly (un)Done Waves Sea Salt Spray (50 ml)
Same comment as above. Why are there two similar products in this box? Not sure. I guess I could try this also.

Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Hands Stronger Nails Lotion (100 ml)
Perfect! As the weather gets colder, my hands get drier so this came at a perfect time! I will be using this for sure.

Vaseline Lip Therapy Cocoa Butter (17 g)
Another perfect product for me! I have always loved Vaseline’s Lip Therapy but haven’t tried it yet in this new packaging. Cocoa Butter is my fave one so I will also be using this for sure. ๐Ÿ™‚

So there you go – the 10 products included in the Unilver Trends Box. Overall, it’s pretty great! Other than maybe the TRESemme products, I will be using it all at some point in time. Super glad that I also received a few things I can use right away when I go on holidays.

Thank you Topbox for this amazing bonus with my September Topbox!

Until next time, friends!
