Unboxing + Review: FabFitFun Fall 2017 Fall in Love

fabfitfun fall 2017

Another season, another FabFitFun box! Granted, I have had this box for awhile now but I ended up going on vacation before  I could write my unboxing. Whoops!

FabFitFun is still one of my favourite subscriptions and I look forward to it every three months. As the seasons change, I love discovering what’s on my box and these unboxings are always so much fun! The theme for Fall’s box is Fall in Love. This season’s box is full of some great things that are perfect for the season.

Before we start, here’s some information about the subscription for those who are unfamiliar with it. FabFitFun is a seasonal lifestyle subscription box that contains everything from beauty to fitness items. Seriously a mishmash of many different products for the season. Every box tends to be very high value (I’m talking in the $200+ and then some range most of the time!) so it’s not your typical subscription box. If you would like to try this subscription, please use my link here.

So let’s get started!

FabFitFun has a subscription feature called Choice. This is available to all subscribers where, every season, there is a theme or two where you can pick and choose the item you would like to receive. For Fall, there were two Choices you had to make.

The first Choice theme was Beauty Innovation Boost. The choice was betwen the Moir Dental Club Organic Carbon + Coconut Teeth Whitening Powder and Toothbrush ($43.95 USD) and the DPHue Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse ($35.00 USD). Honestly, I didn’t really like either choice but I went with the hair rinse. I like using a clarifying shampoo so I thought I would give this a try as it seems to work in a similar way.

The second Choice theme was Fashion Boost where you were able to choose between the B-Low the Belt Mia Belt in Tan or Black ($55.00 USD) or The Jetset Diaries Cable Knit Beanie in Dusty Rose or Black ($49.00 USD).  As it’s getting cooler otuside (and the fact that I rarely wear belts in the first place), I chose the beanie. Besides, I love toques this season! And quite honestly, I have been using this toque for the last few weeks already. It’s so cute! πŸ™‚

Now onto the standard box contents!

The Mer-Sea + Co Scarf in grey ($98.00 USD) is super soft and cozy! To be honest, I am wearing it over my shoulders right now. It’s also super cute with tassels and an ombre pattern. i really like this grey one as it goes with literally everything! Plus, it also goes great with the black  Jetset Diaries beanie I got! I am super happy with this one and it will come in very handy at home, at work (I don’t know about you but sometimes my office is chilly!) and out and about as a scarf. Loving the versatility! And grey goes with everything. πŸ˜‰

Next, how about a nice gym or overnight/weekend bag? This Private Party Gym Bag ($59.00 USD) is perfect for this! I know I can definitely make use of it when camping season starts up again. This will be perfect to keep a couple of changes of clothes, some makeup and toiletries and a book among other things. There is an outside compartment and an inner pocked to help you keep smaller things organized. The bag came in a couple of different sayings but mine was “Gym & Juice”.

The Imm Living Coxet Wite Heart Ceramic Jewelry Holder ($33.00 USD) is a rose gold and porcelain jewelry holder. It’s nice to hang your earrings and keep your rings in the dish but it’s not my favourite item in this box. I’m just not digging it for some reason… maybe it’s because I don’t need another jewelry dish. I have enough for the jewelry that I own.

fabfitfun fall 2017

This next item is pretty practical… especially in my case as I have so much tension in my neck and shoulders. I am sitting at a desk most days for work so that doesn’t help. The Mytagalongs Hot and Cold Gel Pack ($15.00 USD) is going to be great for soothing aches and pains. You can put it in the freezer before using it cold or heat it in the microwave if you want to use it hot. This will come in handy after massages to deal with the pain and it’s even portable enough to keep at work. Or you can use it as a heating bag if you’re chilly. This is a great addition to the Fall box!

fabfitfun fall 2017

Now on to the beauty items! <3

The Deco Miami Lavender Cuticle Oil ($12.50 USD) is great if you love the scent of lavender! It is a nourishing blend of vitamins and organic oils, such as, argan oil and bamboo extract. Meant to moisturize and soften your cuticles. I don’t often use a cuticle oil but this one smells divine! But then again, I’m a fan of lavender.

fabfitfun fall 2017

Next is the Whish Beauty Renewing Mud Mask ($48.00 USD). This mud mask includes natural ingredients like aloe, rosehim oil and bentonite clay. It’s said to help your skin become smoother and softer while slowing down the aging process.

fabfitfun fall 2017

This next one is my fave – the trestique Matte Color and Shiny Balm Lip Crayon in Florence Fig lipstick and Rose balm ($28.00 USD) is great! I was already a huge trestique fan, receiving their items in other subscription boxes, so it was great to see this full-sized product in my Fall Box.

fabfitfun fall 2017

fabfitfun fall 2017

Last but not least was the Cottonelle FreshCare Flushable Cleansing Cloths (Sponsored Product). We already use this in our household so we are no stranger to this product. Having this little travel pack is handy! Juuust in case. πŸ˜‰

fabfitfun fall 2017

So that’s it for my Fall box! What a great mix of things this season. I’m sure I will be using most of it! The only thing that didn’t really catch my eye was the jewelry holder and hair rinse. I’m still up in the air when it comes to the cuticle oil and mud mask, too.  Still, I can’t complain too much because the scarf, beanie, bag, gel pack, and lip crayon are so great!

How are you liking the Fall box items? See you all soon for the Winter box! I just received it today and I can’t wait to show it to you!

Unboxing + Review: Miss Blanco Joyful Box February 2017

Miss Blanco Joyful Box February 2017

This unboxing is a bittersweet one for me. I was super excited to receive it because I knew one item I was receiving and I knew it was amazing! But I also knew something else that made me sad… but we will get to that later. Let’s concentrate on the good stuff first.

The theme of February’s Miss Blanco Joyful Box was Love. That’s fitting, no? Considering the month and the face that it was Valentine’s Day, it was pretty self explanatory.

The product card shows three items plus a line that says “Check your box for other bonus items available, even if you are not a VIP. Minimum 4 items will be received!” Hey, that’s pretty good. For those who are subscribed, what gooddies did you get? πŸ™‚

Let’s see what was in my box. Let’s take a look at the three standard items that everyone received this month.

Everyone received one artisan item this month and it was a handmade guest soap in the scent Pink Sugar from Little Luxuries Soapworks ($1.75 CAD). Pink Sugar is described as “Light, sweet airy smelling, like cotton candy” and I would have to agree with it! It’s not overly sweet smelling and is just right! This will be cute going on a soap dish in the bathroom. I love that these are hand made in Nova Scotia. I love supporting Canadian companies!

Miss Blanco Joyful Box February 2017

The next item I received is a lifestyle item. This pink and black fashion scarf ($29.99 CAD) is pretty! It’s very light which makes it perfect for spring.

Miss Blanco Joyful Box February 2017

Finally, this last one is the spoiler item that I was most excited about! The beauty item for this month was the Tini Mini Pro Flat Iron in Deep Purple ($99.00 CAD). I have always wanted a small flat iron for home and for travel so this was perfect! It even comes with a cute matching pouch.

Miss Blanco Joyful Box February 2017

Miss Blanco Joyful Box February 2017

My fourth item was my VIP item – a lip gloss in the shade Silk Orchid ($14.99 CAD). I’m not sure what the brand is… could it be private labelling? I’m not sure. But in the tube, it sure reminds me of my MAC Cremesheen Glass Lip Gloss in Playful Petal which I adore! If this is a dupe, I will be happy! I will have to try it and see.

Miss Blanco Joyful Box February 2017

There weren’t as many items in this box but with the mini flat iron, the value was up there! It came out to a value of $138.73 CAD in the end.

Now for the bittersweet part – Miss Blanco Joyful Box is taking a break. They plan on readjusting their business model and hope to be back in a few months! Hopefully the break will be short as I do enjoy what they put together in their monthly box. There really aren’t enough of these types of variety subscription boxes. For the most part, these really were Joyful Boxes. πŸ™‚

So that’s it for February. Better late than never, right?

Have a great week everyone!

Unboxing + Review: Miss Blanco Joyful Box December 2016 – Celebration

miss blanco joyful box december 2016

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a great New Years! I had a wonderful holiday season, spending Christmas and New Years with family and friends.

Another year of blog posts gone by! Here’s to another year more. I plan on some new blog series, more unboxings and more actual product reviews this year! I hope you stay and enjoy the ride with me. πŸ™‚

The very first unboxing for 2017 is the December Miss Blanco Joyful Box. I received this just before Christmas (literally – it arrived on December 23rd!) so I am just getting to my unboxing now. I was so happy to see it come just in time for Christmas! And the theme for December is Celebration, which is the perfect theme for the season.

For those of you who ware not familiar with this subscription: Miss Blanco Joyful Box is a lifestyle box sent straight to you each month containing five items that are a mix of deluxe or full sized beauty times,  hand-curated items and lifestyle items.  It is priced at $38.00 CAD (or $28 USD) monthly.

Miss Blanco Joyful Box does offer a VIP member option in addition to the standard subscription. This is just an option – you are not required to opt into this – but for $30.00 CAD per year, you can opt into this program. Please note that you must already be a subscriber and that the cost is on top of your monthly subscription cost. BUT you get a full year of extra perks and surprises for $2.50 CAD per month.  If you do decide to join, please put my name in the field where it asks who referred you – Olivia from starpixel. I would very much appreciate it! πŸ™‚

Miss Blanco Joyful Box December 2016

There is a lot to cover for the month of December so we should get started. December’s box contains two artisan items that are hand made, two beauty items and one lifestyle item for regular members or two lifestyle items for VIPs.

The first item isn’t really an item in the box but I would like to take notice of it anyways! Love this magnetic Miss Blanco Joyful Box 2017 calendar that came in my box! I will definitely be putting this up somewhere at home or at work. I’m not sure where yet. This is super practical and perfect to kick off a new year!

Miss Blanco Joyful Box December 2016

The first of two artisan items I receved is a Bath Bomb in the scent Hot Chocolate from Sunbasilgarden Soaps ($7.50 CAD, one full sized bath bomb). If you are a chocolate or a vanilla lover like I am, you will think that this smells delicious! I love hot cocoa during the colder months so this was perfect for me! There were three other scents availalbe – Mistletoe, Sugar Cookie and a Minty Peppermint one – but I’m so glad I received this one because it smells delish! I love bath bombs but I will admit, I don’t take baths as often as I probably should. I really should make a better effort because bath bombs are the perfect thing for a night in if you just want to relax!

The other artisan item was this gorgeous heart ornament from Crate Charms ($10.00 CAD). This piece features a heart with scalloped edges. This can easily turn into a lovely ornament that you can put on your Christmas tree… or wherever else you may want to hang it. Perhaps from your rear view mirror in your car or even on your purse.

Miss Blanco Joyful Box December 2016

Moving on to the beauty items! This first item – or two items – are not a stranger to me. This is kind of a 2-for-1 deal because you are getting two nail polishes instead of just one! I received two Essie nail polishes in the shades Russian Roulette (a classic red orange shade) and Getting Groovy (from Essie’s Winter 2016 line, a lovely palladium gold) ($17.00 CAD). Of the two, I think I prefer the gold shade, because honestly, you can’t go wrong with a bit of sparkle during the holiday season! Wear one shade alone or wear them both! I myself see myself wearing the red polish as is with the gold being on an accent nail.

Miss Blanco Joyful Box December 2016

This other beauty offering was a shampoo and conditioner deluxe sized duo from the brand Bain de Terre  featuring their Lavender Color Enhancing Shampoo and Keratin Phyto-Protein Strengthening Conditioner ($8.00 CAD). I have never heard of this brand before but it smells really good so I am willing to try it. From what I can tell, though, the shampoo and conditioner are from different product collections. The Lavender Color Enhancing Collection is brand new and the shampoo looks good seeing as it’s a paraben free product. The Keratin Phyto-Protein Collection is both sulfate and paraben free. I do colour my hair so the shampoo will be nice to try next time I get my hair done. I love strengthening products so the conditioner will come in handy, too.

Miss Blanco Joyful Box December 2016

Last up are the lifestyle items. Depending on whether or not you are a VIP member, you may have received one or two lifestyle items.

All members received a Gold Gladiator Hair Band ($31.00 CAD). Wow, this is the high value item in this box! Not sure if that is the going rate for these types of hair bands! This is a beaitiful gold headband that can easily be incorporated into an evening look or as a fun piece with a cute top and jeans for casual days. It is definitely a pop of gold, regardless of what you are wearing! Seems pretty versitile to me. I personally don’t wear hair bands myself other than the headbands I use when I’m putting on makeup to keep my hair out of my eyes or when I’m working out or when I just need something to keep my hair in check when I’m having a lazy day at home or while camping. My head bands are definitely not as glam as this one. Glad I can add something like this to my  accessories collection!

Miss Blanco Joyful Box December 2016

If you are a VIP member, you also received an extra item – a Gold Scarf ($24.99 CAD). I will be honest, this isn’t really my style but it’s still a beautiful scarf! And it coordinates great with the gold headband! I have not see anything like it so it’s very unique in style and super light to go with almost any ensemble.

Miss Blanco Joyful Box December 2016

So that’s all for December! The total value of the box is $73.50 CAD for regular members and $98.49 CAD for VIP members. That’s pretty good value for a lifestyle box! More than double what I paid for.

The December box had a nice variety of items but I personally preferred my October and November boxes. That being said, I will still use most of the items from December.

What are your thoughts on the December Miss Blanco Joyful Box?

Until next time! Have a Happy New Year everyone!

Unboxing + Review: Miss Blanco Joyful Box November 2016 – Acceptance

miss blanco joyful box november 2016

Greetings everyone! The holidays are slowly creeping up on us so we finally put up our tree and decorated this past weekend! We were a little late with the decorations this year because we were in Hawaii.  Plus, it was a good time to do so due to the deep freeze we are dealing with here in Alberta where our windchill temperatures were dipping very close to -40 Celsius. Brr! This also gave me a bit of time to snap some pics and write about this beauty of a beauty box! So let’s get started.

Miss Blanco Joyful Box is a lifestyle box sent straight to you each month containing two to three deluxe or full sized beauty times, one hand-curated item and a lifestyle item. A “Box Full of Joy” so to say! It is priced at $38.00 CAD (or $28 USD) monthly.

Miss Blanco Joyful Box is a little different than other beauty box subs out there in that it offers a VIP member option. I would very much appreciate it! πŸ™‚

The Miss Blanco Joyful Box for November was called Acceptance. November’s box made me feel absolutely spoiled! I received a lifestyle item, a hand-curated item, three body products, two beauty items AND two surprise items bringing me to a total of nine(!!!) products in my box! I get that this does not occur every month but either way, I was ecstatic to see this! Just to clarify, I am a VIP member because I joined in the first month where you could become VIP free for life but this will give you a taste of what kind of surprises you can expect. πŸ˜‰

Now that you know a little about the subscription and a brief summary of what I will be covering here, let’s take a closer look at each item I received. There’s quite a bit here so grab a cup of coffee or hot cup of tea with me and let’s go!

Let’s take a look at the lifestyle item first. This month’s lifestyle item is a Plaid Fashion Scarf ($32.99 CAD). Plaid and scarves are very much “in” this season so this is really the bet of both worlds! Unlike the more common blanket scarves out there, this is a lighter scarf so you can wear it well into spring, cooler mornings in summer and into the fall. You can totally pull off wearing this during any one of the four seasons! The colours in this scarf also makes it easy to wear with what you probably have in your closet. This makes it very versitile and I can already see myself wearing this a lot! I do love scarves, after all. πŸ™‚ Here’s a pic I posted on Instagram wearing it.

After a long day, I’m so tired! So excuse the look of tiredness. Taking pics for my @mbjoyfulbox November unboxing blog post and decided I had time to squeeze in a selfie with this fab scarf! It is so so so SOFT! I’m in love! ? The Joyful Box was so great last month! Oh and that’s my new moonstone and rose gold ring from @soprettycaracotter that I’m now { obsessed } with ?? Wearing the Cami Lippie Stix from @colourpopcosmetics too (you can’t see it but my shirt says “Lipstick Addict” ?) #unboxing #style #scarf #fashion #comfy #soft #plaid #lifestyle #beauty #blogger #beautyblogger #camadianblogger #yegblogger #beautyblogger #lifestyleblogger #loveit #whatsnew #jewelry #sopretty #ring #colourpop #lipsticklover #lipstick

Next up is a handmade Artisan Necklace ($20.99 CAD). This necklace is so adorable! It features a heart pendant on a black cord. Like the scarf, you can pretty much wear this with anything. This is a great piece for any day and any occasion.

miss blanco joyful box november 2016

Let’s discuss body products now. The first one is the Barefoot Venus Lilly Pilly Bath Treat ($5.50 CAD). Like the Lilly Pilly hand cream I received in my October box, it smells great! It contains epsom salt, mango butter, palm kernel oil and sweet almond oil and is created without any harsh mineral oils, parabens, propylene glycol and synthetic colours. I can definitely see myself settling into a nice bath with this treat. I can see this be very soothing and relaxing.

Speaking of soothing and relaxing, I also received the Barefoot Venus Lilly Pilly Argan Dry Body Oil ($2.50 CAD) in a travel size and it smells just as heavenly as the Bath Treat! I haven’t tried a body oil until now and this one is very nice. I found that it absorbs quickly into your skin and doesn’t leave a residue. I will definitely continue to use this on my dry skin. It’s wintery and cold now so this came at the right time!

I really like the Barefoot Venus products I have tried so far so these two were great to see in my Joyful box. πŸ™‚

miss blanco joyful box november 2016

The final body product I received was the Cherish All Natural Products Body Oil in Bubble Gum ($10.00 CAD). I will be honest, I was very uncertain about this when I first saw the spoiler. Bubble Gum Body Oil? Really?

Yes, really! I did give it a try (because you should really try new things at least once!) and was pleasantly surprised! I thought it was going to be super sweet but it really isn’t. It’s still sweet but not crazy sweet. I am actually loving the scent – who knew? This was a great new discovery and I have the Joyful Box to thank for this! I also love how this product is natural. Similar to the Argan Dry Body Oil, I will be using this for sure… our winters here in Alberta are so dry. I did need this!

miss blanco joyful box november 2016

The body oil wasn’t the only item I received from this brand… I also got the Cherish All Natural Products Lip Balm in Cherish Cherry ($6.00 CAD). If you don’t already know, I am a self-proclaimed lip balm junkie! So I am always happy to see a new lip balm in these subscription boxes. πŸ™‚ I haven’t opened this yet because I have too many lip balms as it is. But again, it’s made of natural ingredients so I have high hopes for it! I will use it one day soon! (Maybe sooner than later.. the Nivea lip balm I received from ChickAdvisor is just about done! I did use that one faster than usual… I did love it, though.)

Did the lipstick count as a makeup item? You decide. I did receive a real makeup item and it is the Sweet Leilani Eyeshadow in the shade Mai Tai ($14.99 CAD). This is one of Sweet Leilani’s Seaside Mineral Jewels Eyshadow. The shad Orchid is a grey-silver… I don’t have a colour similar to this in my collection so receiving this was nice. It is velvety smooth in consistency and very pigmented! I probably won’t use this too much as an all over shade but I will use it in the inner corners of my eyes. It’s vegan, and paraben and gluten free so if you are looking for those types of products, this may be something you would like to look into. It’s also fragrance free if you are sensitive to fragrances.

miss blanco joyful box november 2016

I will wrap this up with this random thought: so far the three body and beauty brands we’ve looked at are all Canadian. That is great! I always love supporting local or Canadian brands!

But we’re not done yet! Sure, we are done discovering what was in the box itself but I did also receive two bonus surprises in my box!

The first surprise is the elf Long-wear Lipliner Pencil in the shade Bitter ($1.00 USD). I haven’t used many elf products before so I’m looking forward to trying it! From the swatch shown on the elf site, Bitter is a berry shade. This also comes with a sharpener so that’s always a plus! While this was a great bonus surprise, I was way more excited about the other product.

The second surprise I received was the Lancome Bienfait Multi-Vital Moisturizer ($18.30 CAD, 15 ml) and since this is one of my favorite moisturizers, I was VERY happy to see this deluxe sample size! I’ve used this in the past and I loved it! it’s super moisturizing and worked so great with my skin.

miss blanco joyful box november 2016

Overall, the value of this box is $93.00 CAD according to the product card for the official box contents and then an additional $20.00 CAD in surprise items which is not too shabby! It contained way more products that other monthly subscription boxes (though, I do realize that this won’t happen every single month) so that was a huge plus! This was a really great box – awesome scarf, cute necklace and brands that are brand new to me.  Can’t go wrong with that!

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Unboxing + Review: FabFitFun Fall 2016

fabfitfun fall 2016

It has been a year since I last subbed to Fab Fit Fun. I hadn’t seen much in the spoilers that I was really that interested in… until now!

The spoilers for the Fab Fit Fun box for Fall 2016 were just so hard to say no to! One spoiler after another, as they were released, were making it harder and harder to not resubscribe. There are so many items that I just love in the fall box! It is so jam packed with amazing things! Plus, the box is so adorable and depicts the colouring craze perfectly!

Fab Fit Fun is a seasonal lifestyle subscription box based in the US. You will receive four boxes a year. The box costs $49.99 USD and it is an additional $8 USD to ship to Canada. It is a pricier subscription but it is seasonal and you only get four of them per year and each box has a value that is well over $200.00 USD so if you see that the spoilers are items you would like, it’s totally worth it! If you would like to try this subscription out, I would very much appreciate it if you use my referral link here.

I couldn’t wait to get this box! There’s a lot to cover so let’s get started. πŸ™‚

fabfitfun fall 2016

Unless you have been living under a rock, you have probably noticed there’s a big adult colouring craze is happening now! Adult colouring books are everywhere! I’ve seen a ton of them at Chapters and at Costco. Heck, I own a couple of them myself. The first two items I received in my Fall box goes along with this trend. I received a  FabFitFun Colouring Book and a set of six coloured pencils ($14.00 USD). I received the Things Colouring Book (the other one that was available was Nature) and it’s a book full of random things and objects. I love colouring books! I loved colouring as a child and I love it now. They really are a type of therapy and does reduce stress and anxiety. When I’m colouring, I’m feeling very zen! The problem I seem to stumble  upon, though, is finding time to colour. Gotta make some time for it, I guess. πŸ™‚ Oh, and don’t forget to use those pencil crayons to colour the Fall box, too!

fab fit fun fall 2016

fabfitfun fall 2016

Next up is one of the real stars of this box – this ModCloth Loch and Key Scarf ($34.99 USD) is amazing! Blanket scarves are in this season so Fab Fit Fun got it right by including one in their Fall box. The one I received is in the black and white colourway. Quite honestly, I would have been happy with any one of the four colourways! The ModCloth blanket scarf is super soft, light and comfy! There are a number of ways you can wear it, too. You can use it as a scarf, you can make it into a poncho. I know I will be wearing mine through the fall and well into winter, I’m sure. I’ll be using it as a scarf and a blanket. Plus, it will be great to take on the plane in case you get chilly. Multipurpose items are always a great thing – so practical!

fabfitfun fall 2016

The good stuff just keeps on coming! How adorable is this To-Go Coffee Mug from The Created Co ($19.00 USD)? I love it! I received the “Good Morning Gorgeous” one and it is perfect! You can use it with coffee or water even. Such a fun travel mug with an amazing, empowering message on it! The gold text on black mug looks sleek and gorgeous. If this doesn’t brighten up your morning, I don’t know what will!

fabfitfun 2016

The next item I received is something that smells wonderful. Well, to me it does because I love lavender scents. I just find it so soothing! The Mullein & Sparrow Mini French Lavender Body Oil ($18.00 USD) is a great addition to this box. Not only does it have moisturizing properties when used on your skin, the scent just makes me feel zen. I need to check out the lasting power of this body oil… if I can put it on in the morning and have it help me feel a bit more zen through the busier, more stressful days at work, that would be great! πŸ˜‰

fabfitfun fall 2016

Now, how did FabFitFun know that I needed a new brow gel? The BrowGal Clear, Water-Resistant Eyebrow Gel ($20.00 USD) came at the perfect time! I am just about out of the clear brow gel that I have now. I like using brow gels just to keep my brows staying put. Sometimes brows get a bit crazy too! I have not heard of this brand before so I’m looking forward to trying it.

fabfitfun fall 2016

This next product intrigues me. The Spongelle Bulgarian Rose Body Wash Infused Buffer ($16.00 USD) is something I’ve never seen before. It’s a hypoallergenic sponge that has a time released lather… that’s new to me! Very innovative, if that is the case. It does have a very strong scent, though, and I’ve always been iffy about rose scents, so I’m not sure if I will use this or pass it on to a friend.

fabfitfun fall 2016

The Pure Cosmetics Nude Collection Eyeshadow Palette ($50.00 USD) looks pretty familar to me… it looks like a dupe for my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette! The colours look very similar and all the shades are very wearable, from day to night. I haven’t swatched this because I’m not sure if I’m keeping it yet due to owning Naked 2. But one thing I can see is that this may be more “natural” than my UD palette so that’s a nice option for those who prefer natural products. Either way, this is a big value item in a sub box. Can’t go wrong with that, really… and if you don’t own the Naked 2 palette, then this looks like a great dupe!

This next one will surely come in handy next time I decide to do some yoga. Toesox Toeless Fitness Socks ($18.00 USD)! I can tell you right now that the grips on the bottom of these socks are great! No slip! At all! It takes a bit of getting used to putting it on and then having your toes not be covered like your typical sock. But hey, these socks serve a purpose and the pink colour is so fun!

One more product to go! The Skin Laundry Restoring Night Serum ($50.00 USD) is to be used at night, before you go to bed. It contains powerful antioxidants, vitamins, natural extracts and amino acid. This helps skin texture, firmness and elasticity while you get some rest. I have been using it for a few days so far and I really like it! It’s very light, not sticky at all and feels nice on my skin.

The next two products are the bonuses… and even though they’re bonuses, they are super useful items!

The first one is Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths (Sponsored Item). I’ll admit it – these are practical! And how adorable is that packaging! We do already use this product and really like it so this was a nice bonus.

And last but not least, I received a deluxe sample of Secret Outlast Xtend Clear Gel (Sponsored Item). Quite glad I received this because I adore Secret Clear Gels! They are my fave antiperspirant/deodorant product ever. EVER. So this will get used for sure!

Overall, my Fall 2016 FabFitFun box was a hit! I am very happy with it! My fave item has got to be the blanket scarf, though! Out of the 11 products I received – nine of which were the actual box contents plus two sponsored items – I will be using pretty much everything except maybe the Spongelle sponge and Pure Cosmetics palette. And really, the only reason why I may not use the palette is because I already own and use something similar. Such amazing value at $239.99 USD! And don’t forget to check out the Exclusive Offers card for discounts from seven of the brands featured in the Fall box. πŸ™‚
